From a young age, travel was never just an occasional escape for me—it was a way of life. I grew up watching my parents journey across continents, moving effortlessly from South America to North America, Europe to Africa, and beyond. I didn’t just witness these experiences; I lived them alongside them. Airports, new languages, unfamiliar streets, and cultural rituals became part of my everyday rhythm.

But what stayed with me most was not just where we went—it was how we traveled.

My parents never approached the world as tourists passing through. They traveled with intention, with curiosity, and with deep respect for the places and people they encountered. They immersed themselves, embraced the local way of living, and allowed each destination to shape them. Even today, I watch them continue this journey together—moving from country to country, fully present, deeply connected, and truly living.

That perspective shaped my identity.

As I grew older, I realised how rare it is to experience travel in that way. So often, it becomes rushed, surface-level, or disconnected. I felt a strong pull to create something that could bring people back to the essence of what travel is meant to be.
